The NOKTON 35mm F1.2 Aspherical III VM is an updated lens, featuring improved compactness for enhance useability on rangefinder cameras whilst keeping the established excellent optical performance of the previous model.

By using leading-edge optical glass and a high-performance design method, we have been able to reduce the size of the lens whilst combining both high-level optical performance and a wide aperture.

In comparison with the former model (NOKTON 35mm F1.2 Aspherical II), it is approximately 20% shorter (50.5mm), and it is about 30% lighter (332g). In comparison to other interchangeable lenses for mirrorless camera with the same specifications, it is less than half the length and one third the weight.

When seeking for the ultimate in optical performance, most lenses tend to have many elements which makes them heavy and bulky. The Voigtl?nder VM series provides a rich experience and value by giving the best balance of practical optical performance and useability.

While inheriting the excellent optical system and compact style of it's predecessor, the filter ring is now black and the weight of the main body has been reduced to 300g by improving the internal mechanical parts. It is a lens with a fast aperture that enables a large soft bokeh expression, but has excellent portability dur to it's compact size and weight.
