The Leica Elpro 52 close-up lens enables extraordinarily high-quality macro photography with your existing Leica M and TL-lenses. The compact and portable Elpro 52 expands your capabilities and gets you closer to your subjects by greatly reducing focusing distance. Its optical construction is comprised of two cemented lens elements with anti-reflective multicoating, rendering its images crisp, sharp and practically free from chromatic aberrations. This makes it possible to capture impressively detailed, close-up images with a newfound level of depth. The design of the new lens and the new adapter is perfectly matched to each other. When mounted on the adapter, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 can also be used in its collapsed position for focusing all the way to infinity. Thanks to the adapters variable extension, this allows photographers to set any distance from 41 cm (reproductionratio 1:2) to infinity without having to dismount the adapter.The Leica Macro-Adapter-M and the Leica Macro-Elmar-M form a convenient solution for close distance photography using the live view function of the Leica M (Typ 240). This combination extends the field of application of the M camera to macro photography up to reproduction ratio of 1:2 by allowing focusing down to 41cm.
As the Macro-Adapter-M is also compatible with other M lenses, it offers Leica M photographers an even wider range of opportunities for creative composition and additional variety in reportage portfolios.

The LEICA UNIVERSAL WIDE-ANGLE VIEWFINDER M enables precise cropping of the subject with the LEICA TRI-ELMAR-M 16-18-21 mm f/4 ASPH. on the LEICA M7 and MP as well as the digital LEICA M8. For the LEICA M8, the focal length extension factor of 1.33x has to be considered, so in this case the bright-line frames for 21, 24 or 28 mm are set on the LEICA UNIVERSAL WIDE-ANGLE VIEWFINDER M. A parallax compensation dial enables adjustment of the frame to the focusing distance in five steps. Thanks to one aspherical lens element and one with achromatic correction, the LEICA UNIVERSAL WIDE-ANGLE VIEWFINDER M is insensitive to stray light and features high resolution and exceptional brilliance. An illuminated spirit level helps to keep the camera horizontal even in unfavorable light conditions. The eyepiece has a screw mount for optionally available diopter correction lenses.
