This special edition of the M4-P in silver chrome was issued in 1983 to note the 70th anniversary of when Oskar Barnack completed his first prototype. These cameras have a special number and are engraved with the curved script logo and the years 1913-1983 on the back of the top plate. This edition of 2500 was supplied in sets with similarly engraved lenses.
