The 250 camera, often referred to as the 'Reporter', is a black Leica III with increased film capacity. The enlarged film chambers allowed a cassette containing 10metres of film (250 exposures).

The camera outfit comes in a square leather case and includes Leitz Summar 5cm f2 (serial 347485), chrome A36 push on lens cap, Leitz Elmar 9cm f4 (serial413769), Leitz 13.5cm f4.5 (serial 245582), 3 brass Leitz film cassettes with cases, Elpro *1 and Elpik *2 close up attachments, cable release, VIDOM finder, UV, yellow 1, Or and GGr A36 lens filter.
