The objective of the Leica designers is to supply photographers with a lens capable of achieving an uncompromisingly high performance at all ranges and apertures. As a classical standard lens, the SUMMARIT-S 70 mm F/2.5 ASPH. produces a high richness of contrast up to the 0.5 metre minimum distance setting due to a floating element. With its special highly refractive glass with anomalous partial dispersion, the lens guarantees superb sharpness right to the edges of the image field.

EX DISPLAY

The Leica Vario-Elmar-S 30?90 mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. has the same imaging characteristics as a 24?72 mm zoom lens in 35 mm format. It combines a universally versatile range of focal lengths, compact construction and low weight with extraordinarily high imaging performance throughout the entire focusing range to ensure extremely flexible and fatigue-free photography, particularly important for longer sessions.
