THIS ADAPTER WILL WORK WITH VARIOUS M LENSES.
The design of the new lens and the new adapter is perfectly matched to each other. When mounted on the adapter, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 can also be used in its collapsed position for focusing all the way to infinity. Thanks to the adapters variable extension, this allows photographers to set any distance from 41 cm (reproductionratio 1:2) to infinity without having to dismount the adapter.The Leica Macro-Adapter-M and the Leica Macro-Elmar-M form a convenient solution for close distance photography using the live view function of the Leica M (Typ 240). This combination extends the field of application of the M camera to macro photography up to reproduction ratio of 1:2 by allowing focusing down to 41cm.
As the Macro-Adapter-M is also compatible with other M lenses, it offers Leica M photographers an even wider range of opportunities for creative composition and additional variety in reportage portfolios.

Especially when shooting close to the ground with the LEICA MACRO-ELMAR-M 90 mm f/4, the LEICA anglefinder M provides for relaxed picture taking with no neck strain, and is generally useful in situations where you do not wish to - or are unable to - hold the camera directly in front of your eyes.
